...bike parade! That's how we started our Fourth of July, with Greta on her festively decorated 16" bike (she refuses to learn how to ride on her big girl 20" version) and Lincoln on the over-the-rear-wheel bike seat that should have stopped fitting him last year but looks like it might work until he's six. We pedaled about two-tenths of a mile to the community pool where prizes were awarded for zaniest, most patriotic, and most unique ride. But since there are no winners and losers until high school, everyone got a medal for participation.
