That's a wrap for the 2019 Junior Silver Warriors! Three wins, lots of learning, and a whole lot of pride for yours truly. Greta admitted tonight that she tried out "for me," but now she likes the sport "a little bit." When she said little bit, she held her thumb and forefinger about an inch and a half apart. I'll take it.
She had a great final game. Three shots, no points, countless rebounds and solid passes. She really did learn a lot about the game and I think in a more advanced offense where they use their post players as scoring options, she could be a double-double every game. For now, she's a 13-year-old trying new things and that's just fine with this father.

Congratulations on a great season Greta!
ReplyDeleteOur kids have little to no interest in basketball. However, Riley went to the UNC vs. Miami game last weekend and had a great time. She said it is much better in person than watching on TV.
