Alas, once again I was not with the family as they fed giraffes and held chicks and ate turkey legs and whirled around in neon and watched a drone light show and tried out VR goggles and admired the sand sculpture and butter sculpture. But I was the maestro in a winning control room. UAlbany Women's Soccer beat Iona, 2-1, on Friday afternoon.
