Light at the end of the tunnel...

As we come to the tail end of this horrible health week, just a photo of Greta on Monday sitting on top of a "Children of the World" puzzle that she proudly assembled with me in between guzzling Motrin and hacking up her lungs.

  1. sounds like they might have gotten what Sylvie had - Bronchiolitis is rampant up here. Lot of kids devolving to pneumonia (though luckily we were spared that). Been to the doc's for a lung check?

  2. There is finally light in those beautiful eyes. And, on a fashion note, great outfit, Greta! Are they PJ's?

  3. Dan, because we knew of Sylvie's illness and learned that another friend of Rob's had a daughter who spent a week in the ICU with pneumonia, we went to the docs last week. I thought for sure the lungs and ears would be a mess. But nope, clear as can be! Our pediatrician warned a fever might follow (it did), and she said it would last up to 72 hours (just under). If the fever was still present after three days, or if their symptoms changed before that (the way they breathed/coughed/etc), we were supposed to return. Lucky for us, we didn't need to. Thanks for the advice!
